Chandelier lighting add a certain flair to any room. From outdoor chandeliers to crystal chandeliers, mini ones to wrought iron, there is always one to match your interior design objectives. It is always a treat to get to choose the lighting for any room. One thing to consider when adding a chandelier light is that, even though it has several lights in the configuration, the bulbs should be kept more for decoration. Other can lights or track lights should be used for the bulk of the illumination of the room. The job of the chandelier is to make a space more elegant. This is similar to not letting the salad dressing out do the salad. The chandeliers lighting should complement the room, not take on the whole lighting job on its own.

For smaller rooms  mini chandeliers are a nice choice. The arms, globes, or shades can be chosen to accent and compliment the main colors of a room. Even sun rooms or covered porches can take advantage of a well placed hanging light.

More substantial wrought iron chandeliers can be used for dining rooms, great rooms, or even a library. Care must be taken when designing a room for the a heavy light of this type. It can require special hanging as some weigh in at over 80 pounds. Whatever your choice of style, consider incorporating chandelier lighting into your home decor.
