The holidays are fast approaching and we are already looking on how we are going to decorate the house, for parties, family and just for fun. Now, if like me, you like sleek modern design for your environment then the traditional creche scene probably leaves you cold (thinking design only). You are sure to change your tune when you see the creche created by designer Massimo Giacon. This modern creche, made of porcelain with vibrant colors is sure to please old and young. This Christmas creche entitled "Presepe" is an Alessi design,  and is available in white or red, it includes the shepherd the sheep and the magi, all playful and delightful.

This year is the third year that the collection of Christmas figures is made available to the public, and it has been expended by the addition of useful objects to be used around the house for the Holidays.

For pannettone you will now find two large plates that will definitely add a special touch to your Holiday table.

Or you might prefer Scia Natalino a hand-decorated stoneware pastry plate, with Santa on skis in a precarious position at the top of a mountain. The collection closes with a touching moment when Hal Freddo hugs a Christmas tree.

Massimo Giacon is a cartoonist who has used his extraordinary talents for the whimsical and the playful to make his vision of the world extend to our homes and Christmas decorations.
