I recently showed you how effective using only one strip of wallpaper can be in decorating with style. Today we are going to take the concept of home decorating with wallpaper a step further.

Introducing the wallpaper shelf. Now this concept is better shown with images than explained.

The shelf imitates a partly unstuck roll of wallpaper. It is functional and an original way to create an illusion, which is what designer Vincent Olm was intending to do. The self itself is a composite of metal and polyethylene, a material that is fairly thick and will support books but light enough to give the illusion of paper. The wallpaper part of the shelf can be decorated anyway you want. Not yet available in stores this is an idea that has merit.

This second idea is not only decorative but could keep the kids or customers or anyone occupied for hours. It is the wallpaper game by 5.5 designers. Several games are available, Find a Word, Maze Draw, and Tic Tac Toe my favorite. With this wallpaper you will be able to let your imagination flow and always have a party game ready.

Your wall decor will grow in color and complexity over time, and will become a truly unique decorating element. Think also that you will never have to punish the kids for writing on the walls.

A great place for this wallpaper might be the bathroom, no need for magazines anymore.
